Mesa Boogie 50/50

I have the possibility of buying an old 50/50 for 400 usd. Is that a good price if the amp is in ok condition? I live in Scandinavia and prices here are usually one third more than in the states. Just got the offer and don´t know much about it except beeing Mesa :wink:

I had an old Strategy 400 recently which i sold to get the triple rectifier. But I still have my Sansamp PSA 1.1 and I though maybe the 50/50 would be good company for it.

I think it's a very good price since you're european. But if it's an american model you will have to buy a 220 (or 230, 240... it depends on the voltage in your country) to 110 V transformer.

I think that's a super great price for a Fifty/ Fifty. I got one of those myself and I paid SeK 6000 for mine (used, in good shape at a retailer). Mine had been converted to 220/240V post production.

It could be interesting for you to know wether or not the Fifty you're looking into has been dark-modded or not and if you like it that way or not. This modification was made to better suit the Recto pre-amps and as slave to a Rectifier. I'm glad mine wasn't.
