For sale, Mesa 295 Power Amp. In excellent condition.
$750.00 plus any shipping or paypal fees.
I am listing this on here before I list it on ebay or craigslist. I am also selling an early 2 channel Dual Rectifier revision F.
I am in the Chicago area.
Obviously the 295 is the bottom of the two in the first pic.

Hi guys. i'm realizing a thing: triaxis preamp is able to worth much money, you know. So why does a nice 100+100w simul class 295 stereo rack power amp cost lesser than a triaxis preamplifier? it's just a preamp! A power amp should cost that more imfho

It cost more because there's so much more in it than other preamps. It's not just a simple 2, 3, or even 4 channel preamp. Also, consider this... The 295 was built off of existing technology for the most part. So they just had to build it off of what they already knew. But when the Triaxis was built, it was ground breaking. There was a ton of research and development that was required to build this. They would probably loose money if they charged less than what they charged for the 295. But as a side note, the 295 was a few years older and wasn't designed for the Triaxis. The 2:90 is the power amp meant to go with the Triaxis, but all of the above would still apply.

ok, i get it. btw on the 295's rear panel there are several output jacks (two 4ohm's and two 4ohm's for channel). I wonder if anyone wants plug a 16ohm cab...which jack should he use? no 16ohm's in there, right?

Good question. I've never been good at figuring out the ohm mismatches. There's plenty of people on here that could help you. I'd post a new topic question, or do a search because I'm sure there's already been some discussion on this topic. And if all else fails, call Mesa. They'll get you the information that you need.
