Mesa Boogie 2 channel Dual Rec

These are the older dual recs right? What would be a good deal on one? Which ones (three channel or two channel) sound chewier with a more singing lead tone? Which in your opinion has the better tone. I know it is subjective thats why I am asking in your opinion.

I love my old 2ch Recto. The three channels may be great for some but, I can get a killer tone out of my head.
