Someone was asking about this cab on the Modern Amps forum.

I guess this cab was designed with the Mark series in mind so I am posting my reply also here, in case it is of interest to any of you.

It is an old 4 x 12 with 4 Black Shadow MC-90 (Celestions 90 W 8 ohm).
The top half is open and the bottom half is closed. You can use it in mono (8 ohm) or in stereo/bi-amp using the 2 other jacks (4 ohm each).

It is a slant cab with the metal grill and I think it is even smaller than the Recto Traditional 4 x 12 cab (which has the same dimensions as a traditional Marshall 4 x 12).

It is the smallest 4 x 12 I have ever seen and it looks beautiful.
Regards

you are talking about a half back cab. They are great cabs. The road king cab seems to be a reincarnation of these. I am not sure of the size as mine has been in aroad case since i bought it but i can say that, yes they are very good and they look very cool with the metal grill. If you are looking to get one try and find one with some evs in it.
