maverick/dc3

i just saw an amp in a store on sale. it was just as the store was closing. it was labeled maverick proto #2. the original mesa tag said it was a dc3 and the sn was dc30002 or something like it. it looked like a dc...does any body know what the deal is with this amp? seemed pretty neat to me.

I've seen a few on ebay lately that said they were Maverick prototypes.

The DC-3 doesn't have a Rectifier tube.
The Mav doesn't have a Graphic EQ.
Easiest way to tell them apart.

He sold it twice, I keep looking for it to go back up again.

It would be interesting to see if the guys at Boogie remember making any of these.
