hey guys,

when i play through the clean channel of my mav i hear the lead channel noticably bleeding through...when i turn the lead gain all the way down it dissapears. when i turn it up it gets more noticable. i just retubed the amp with electroharmonix pre's and powers and a j/j rectifier. had this problem on the previous set of tubes (mesas) too...any ideas what's wrong? thanks.

called mesa help line today...

he suggested that i take it to a tech and that they'd be glad to supply a schematic for the problematic section.

hmm...

am i the only one who has ever had this problem?

so now i guess the problem is FINDING a tech to work on it.

turns out MB doesn't have any certified techs in my area.

i live in middlebury, vt (at least for the next 6 weeks)

does anyone know of any techs in the middlebury or even vt area who could work on my mesa?

any thoughts on this topic of channel bleeding?

I just got a used Maverick and I don't hear any bleeding between the channels. And this amp has a pretty spent set of tubes.

Did you ever figure out what the problem is?

LeonD

haven't been able to find an amp tech in the area yet...still trying...will drive to burlington next week...
