Marshall Haze

So what's the deal with the $599 Marshall Haze 15W all tube head with effects? Almost seems to good to be true to have an all tube Marshall, with effects, small, effects loop, and something that isn't 50 or 100 watts. I currently have the Vox Nighttrain as my portable backup, but this little head is intriguing too.

TERRIBLE clean because you're always overdriving it due to the low wattage, or just plain TERRIBLE anyway?

I was looking at those too. I agree with the other posts. You can find a used vintage modern for not much more than the haze. Those amps are awesome for the more classic Marshall tones and the cleans are amazing. It is 50w though... I'd still go for it!

Great gain as in, can it do metal with hot passive pups (X2N) and without an OD pedal? Dont care much for cleans.
