So I was surfing "artists" on the Mesa Website and noticed that Maroon 5's Adam Levine is listed as using Triple Rectifier Solo Heads. Having said that, It left me scratching my head as I would have never in a million years connected that type of amp to Maroon 5's sound. I did also notice somekind of fender in the picture of his rig (appears he A/Bs amps). Again, a Triple Recto for MAROON 5?! What?! lol :)

See for yourself.....

Just goes to show the Recto is much more versatile than most people give it credit for.

Actually a friend of mine who plays that type of music uses a Rectoverb, so it doesn't surprise me at all.

The Fender looks like a Tone-Master, which is either one of the worst-sounding amps ever made or one of the best-sounding, depending on whether you can crank it up above halfway :). Really, it's not a two-channel amp with a clean and dirty channels, it's a high-volume non-MV amp with a Boost channel, and it needs to be used like that or the dirty channel sounds awful.

He use to use the mesa amp, my assumption was he used the push mode, very sweet sounding and ideal for his music. However, my wife and I saw them over the summer and he now uses a marshall combo amp, looks like one of the reissues.
