Hi all,

I just picked up a used Mark VII (000593). I'm a III, IV and V owner so still getting used to the newer features. I plugged in my headphones yesterday and got nothing. I'm assuming its just a plug in and adjust the level for sound?? Is there a switch I'm missing? I reached out to Mesa and will prob send it in, just figured Id check here first.

Thanks guys,
Brian

It should just work. Check the level dials on the back panel by the HEADPHONE and LINE OUT jacks. Make sure the INPUT dial is set so you get the yellow or green level lights to illuminate when playing. Make sure the OUTPUT level is not at zero (dials by the headphone jack). Do the level lights illuminate when you play?

Have you ever messed with the cab clone IR files? If somehow the IR files were deleted from the internal memory then the headphone jack and XLR out wouldn’t produce any sound.

Have you tried the XLR output or selecting another cab slot option?

Anyway, just rambling off some things to try
