Tons of good info as usual, bandit. I found out the headrush looper board is obsolete, looking at the Boss 6-ch one, that looks promising. I hope the Mesa line out doesn't sound too bad, and that the levels are even. Oh yeah, going from clean to dirty is not as good as I thought too, I was just having too much fun and was distracted i guess.

What I experienced was from changing from CH2 Mark VII to CH1 crunch I would notice a sudden rise in volume due to the effect still pushing out the tails from CH2. Swapping from CH3 in IIC or IV mode to CH2 VII mode was not so dramatic. I love the Mark VII for what it is but may not do everything well.

Not sure on the line out, never tried it. More or less, it is the raw output of the amp without the cabclone IR effects. Wonder if it is like a slave out but derived differently since the slave out function is taken from the output side of the OT. Cabclone IR or the rest of the rear outputs I have yet to mess around with. For me, it is just the FX and speaker outputs that get connected.
