What style do you play? Oh wait don't answer that because I can confidently say it will do it and do it well.

This is so true. I mean sure there a plenty of versatile amps out there that do multiple things well... but not like the Mark V. It does EVERYTHING extremely well. Hell, the mark iv could, but the V made even further imrpovements by making the second channel actually usable (well usable is putting it lightly, but you get what I am saying  )

It is very versatile. I liked it enough to buy one. Just have to be sure about the voice you want. It is not an SLO. Does not cover that sound. It definitely is not a Rectifier. It does cover lots of ground and I have heard lots of variety on tones people get from it. Don't want to make it sound like a V will cover everything and do it like the original. That would be internet fan boy hype.... It is just a good solid amp at a good price for all you get. It sounds a bit better if you can crank it up a bit. It responds well to EL34's and takes a boost pretty well. Hard to beat it as a swiss army knife type of amp.

Oh no, I'm not trying to say that it covers the sound of any other amp, just the sound of any music or playing style

Looking at that last post, I did not mean for it to sound like I was implying any 'fanboy' type behavior. No slight intended.
