This is so true. I mean sure there a plenty of versatile amps out there that do multiple things well... but not like the Mark V. It does EVERYTHING extremely well. Hell, the mark iv could, but the V made even further imrpovements by making the second channel actually usable (well usable is putting it lightly, but you get what I am saying :lol: )
It is very versatile. I liked it enough to buy one. Just have to be sure about the voice you want. It is not an SLO. Does not cover that sound. It definitely is not a Rectifier. It does cover lots of ground and I have heard lots of variety on tones people get from it. Don't want to make it sound like a V will cover everything and do it like the original. That would be internet fan boy hype.... :shock: It is just a good solid amp at a good price for all you get. It sounds a bit better if you can crank it up a bit. It responds well to EL34's and takes a boost pretty well. Hard to beat it as a swiss army knife type of amp.
