My Mark V combo is on the UPS truck and will be here today! I am so stoked. Unfortunately, work is slammed this week and I won't be able to really put it through its paces until this weekend. Once I do, I'll report back.

Woohoo!

Saw your other thread about coming back to the Mark V. Hope you get to dial in the tonez of your preference this time around. With 3 different voice per channel + 3 diff channels, it is a different animal compared to most amps out there. Top that off with how the EQs work, it definitely is a challenge to dial in. But, "Take the Time" this time around and hope you find the tones you are looking for 8)

And for those with the head version, speaker paring makes a huge impact on tone.

Thanks!

I'm not gigging right now, so I intend on moving slowly with it this time. I got frustrated the last go-around, not being able to get the high gain tones I wanted quickly. Looking back, I never gave the Mark V a fair chance. Now I realize I need to learn how the amp's EQ works, especially in concert with the gain and presence knobs.
