Hey All,

First post, but have been reading the forum for some time. I have a ENGL 530, ADA 3TM and GSP1101 switching into a MESA 20:20. I am really happy with this set up. I am planing to pick up a Mark V soon, but wanted to get some advice first. My question is simple: Which amp covers Mark 2II C+ and Mark iV better? The Triaxis or the Mark V? It seems like both amps cover similar ground.

Thanks in advance for your direction...

In my ears I think the V sounds a little better but the tri is WAY more versitile. Try to play both. Depends on how you want to use them I guess.

Having owned both...the V is a far superior sounding rig to my ears. The Triaxis gives you "presets" which make it convenient if you are using more than three tones and are using midi. I love the V more every time I plug in to it. I didn't have the same relationship with my Triaxis 2:90 rig.

Agree with the above poster -- had the Triaxis/2:90 combo for many years and got rid of it to switch to the V and feel its superior in every aspect minus midi programmability.
