I recently almost sold my V (was a done deal that fell through at the last minute - I had packed up and all). When I fell through I was so relieved and have been playing it more and more over the last couple weeks as a result. I have started using IV mode and recorded the god that failed from Metallica's black album. One of my favourites from the album that I've always wanted to learn and never got round to it since it was in Eb and hadn't always had an Eb tuned guitar ready to go.
Anyway, here's the vid. The mic is an SM57 (middle of cone to cap) on axis about 3 fingers from the grill. Hope you enjoy
