NICE!!! My band covers "Rooster", but I've been stuck in IV mode........Again. But maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow with C+ mode.

And I gotta say, your recording skills are great. Your mixes always sound like they are part of the song!

Thanks Scott,

You know, I was stuck on the Mark IV also for a while and one day I had the 2 C+ mode on and played a couple songs and I said I gotta try recording this song one day. So it turned out OK.

That's the reason I like the Mark V so much, So many tones you can get out of it. Try it man.

I'm in a Alice cover band and I just got markV amp. Struggling to get that chains tone or how to set amp up as 2 rhythm or one rhythm and one lead tone.

Not to resurrect this old thread, but saw the Alice reference and wa wondering if you had much luck getting it dialed. I have a Blackstar that I'm trading in for a Mark V in a couple weeks and I'm worried about lag time while I try to figure my amp out. I know there's a mountain of sounds in this amp but some recommendations on Chains tones would be great. We play about 7-8 Alice songs..... And Cantrell is the Riff master while Staley was a super human when it came to vocal harmonies. Truly one of the greatest and most underrated bands of all time.
