Man, that clean channel sounds very LSC'ish.....but not as dark; Me Likes

Not like I,ve been here forever myself, but welcome aboard.

And you come bearing clips too, how cool is that! Thanks man, sounds good now.

Wait til some more time has passed and you have that joker dialed in after you,ve gotten used to it, post clips again. Keep playing, and enjoy your amp!

And just let me say, hack playing? Sounds fine man!...there are folks that are "better", and "worse". Everyone has to go thru their, "levels". Playing is playing, and music is music. And it,s all good when you make an attempt!

thanks for taking the time to put those clips together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much guys... I will most surely be spending a lot more time working this little beauty. Those were the settings right out of the manual, the EQ off and a cheap usb mic. Just trying to give a very general idea of a few of the raw sounds inside this box.

I was very curious myself to hear any clips of the V, I thought others might be as well, so I threw these up very quickly.

There are some world class players on here, I am grateful for any and all advice on getting good tone. Someone suggested I put the mid and bass below three, treble up and use the EQ, I'll start there.

Oh... and yeah, I'll read the manual again. ;-)

Very cool message board... I'll get to work on getting some proper tone. Looking forward to hearing your opinions and advice. This is like free therapy for tone freaks!!

Thanks again...

Ahhh... thank you guys for taking the time to listen. I am listening here also... I hope to get some better clips up soon. And with the settings... just in case someone wants.

Boogie rocks!!!

Loved the clips.

The cleans are what are jumping out at me the most. The dirty channels sound awesome, but all the Marks dirty channels sound great. Those cleans are out of this world!

Thanks for sharing the clips.

This is killing me.

I keep eyeing my wall trying to figure out what I am willing to part with in order to come up with the cash for one of these. But I can't do it, especially considering I would have to part with more then one item.

That has to be my next amp!

Hey all, many thanks to all who took the time to listen and comment... both those that liked and those that didn't. Heck, if it was that easy Leo could have stopped with the Tele and The Bassman. The human ear hears with the same complexity that the tongue tastes with... there is a reason there is a thousand different amps and guitar, it's all good.

That was a quick setup, the first sample set in the manual...

I am looking forward to hearing clips from some others on here, some experienced Boogie players who can really work these amps.

I love this board... I've learned a lot in just my few days here. These amps are different... I would never drop the bass to 1 on any other amp, but it works on this one. Boogie should include this site in the manual...

It would appear Boogie players are like Boogie amps, a little more refined than the others, and even when pushed, they remain classy.

Thanks again...

I doubt that will EVER happen, and I understand why. There are way too many half-truths and misinformation on the internet, even here. :( If it was my company, any link to this site would come with a disclaimer, much like the TV stations use. With a great warranty package like MESA offers, they must cover their ass.

In the manual doesn't it say for high gain that "Bass should be 0-2 with HBs, 2-4 with Single Coils" or something to that effect?

Think about how many noobs we'd have if Mesa linked here on every manual, haha.
