So I hear a lot of people saying it has the lonestar clean, well let me see some settings that make this true because I would LOVE that,

The Mark V has great cleans but I don't think it has the Lonestar clean, not quite. That would be too good to be true.
However the amp is new to me so perhaps I just haven't found it yet.
I also would love to see some settings!

After spending some time with a Lone Star, I like my V better. The V is a little more pronounced and artiiculate. Where as the LS seemed a more squishy. Both very nice, it's really what you prefer. Also keep in mind that the "Fat" mode is the only part of the V that is close to the Lonestar. "clean" is from the Mark series lineage and "Tweed" is unique to the V.

Yes, the circuit in the Fat mode is taken from the lonestar, stated by the mesa guy in the namm 2009 youtube video.

Tweed is one of the best.... Love it with the gain and master cranked, running loud. Wonderful classic rock to be found there.
