Hi,

Just picked up a Mark V. Used to have a Mark IV combo that I loved and sold like a moron.

But glad to have my new Mark V rig. Posting my rig and settings for some Plexi type tones I stumbled across.

Dynamic AC/DC Tone - Some brown sound as well - Nice jangly Plexi tone - Clapton tone and Ted Nugent Stranglehold

Schecter Hellraiser - all knobs up - bridge pickup (EMG active pickups)

Mark V Settings
Channel 2 - Mark I Mode Switch and Mark I Normal Switch
Channel 2 Gain at 8:30
EQ on and set to slider preset - Slider preset set to 4:00
Full Power - (Might try variac power for fun)
Presence - 2:00
Bass - 12:30 (probably not relevant)
Mid - 11:00 (probably not relevant)
Treble - 3:00 (probably not relevant)
Channel 2 set to 90 watts
Channel 2 rear of amp switch flipped down (tube I believe)
Master Output at 1 or 2

Furman PQ3 Settings
Master Level at 5

Bottom range
frequency - 99 hz
bandwidth - 2.5 notches (first notch is 0)
EQ db - +4

Mid range
frequency - 770 hz
bandwidth - 4.5 notches (first notch is 0)
EQ db - (-2)

Top range
frequency - 2500 hz
bandwidth - 6 notches (slighly under) (first notch is 0)
EQ db - +3 db

Effects
No pedals engaged

Gforce -
in set at 9:00
out set at 1:00
DLY - 25/100
REV - 28/100

Mesa 1X12 Black Shadow open back cab
