So I use the Mark V 35 combo and the Thiele together about 95% of the time. Each speaker is an 8 ohm Cannabis Rex. They Sound great. Really makes the amp sound more on the 6l6/6v6 side of things. Anyway if i run only the Thiele or the internal speaker the amp feels like it is running the most efficient. When I plug both speakers in the two 4 ohm jacks there is a bass and volume drop. If I put 16 ohm Cannabis Rex's in the combo and the Thiele will I not get the volume and bass drop because I will be running at total of 8 ohm? I know its safe to run a 16 ohm in the 8 ohm jack if i want to use the combo only for a practice.
