Mark V 35 effects loop issue?

So I'm trying to run my EHX Memory Boybpedal in the loop. Send-->input, output-->return. When I turn the amp on the volumes is barely audible. When I unplug the cables from the loop the volume returns to normal. Running the ordeal in the front works fine. Issue?

Analogue delays need to go in the front end of the amp to sound best. Digital in the loop.

Analog/digital has nothing to do with it. The levels have to match. If your pedal is an instrument level box, it won't work in the loop unless you are able to control the send and return levels.

Yes I mentioned it as an aside. Line level being incompatible from a company the size of EHX for an amp that knocks out a line level that works fine with nearly all other pedals. I wouldn't be looking there, unless the channel volume is at either extreme.

Yup.. agreed on that. I run both Way Huge Supa Puss (analog) and Korg Pandora stomp (digital) in the loop and both seems fine.
Mine is the M V: 25 though.

I mentioned the analogue digital thing as an aside.
Analogue delays are made to go into the front end of amps, it's the correct way to use them. Just the same as it always has been with the first analogue delays, tape echo's.
