I would like to know, can i use headphones without a cabinet? I want to be sure before i try.

Thank you.

you find it in the manual (pages 26-28) plug the headphones and put the switch of the cabclone on spkr off, you active the internal load and basically you silent the external cab, keep it plugged btw, if you turn on the speaker and there is nothing plugged in you can seriously damage the amp.

Hello TheHypnotoad,

So even with the cabclone , i have to plug in the cabinet ?

it's safely.

even if you do not use it, keep it plugged, if you do the mistake of turning the speaker on without a cab plugged it's a disaster, you can badly damage the amp.

No, you do not need to keep a cabinet plugged in when using the amp in the Speaker Off position.

Thanks!

Like authorized boogie said, not required.

However I understand where hyptnotoad is coming from.

I am SCARED TO DEATH I will accidentally flip that switch without a load on it.

I am too, keep a cab plugged is basically a fail-safe, burn the amp is not worth the silent mode
