Hi All,
I want to convert my Mark IVA (117V-domestic version) to a 240V version.
People over here allready told me where to get an Export tranny. (Thanks Aart!).
I have some technical experience concerning tube amps.
(build my own tube amp last year)
But just to make sure I would like to have some gutshots of a genuine 240V version.
Maybe a complete mark IVA schematic? (I only find bits and pieces on the net. And no schematic of a IVA export )
I also want to do a cap job.
Those of you who changed their filtercaps.
Do you desolder the old ones and solder the new ones without removing the circuitboard? (especially the big circuitboard looks like a pain to remove)
At the moment I use a stepdown tranny. but since I want to make a head of this amp there will be no place in the headshell for the extra tranny.
Thank you all! 8)
