Mark IV ?

Mine is a B with the hard wired cord. It's in the 6800-6900 range.
I have no idea when they went to the IEC.

actully yeah i have seen A's with the removeable cord...so maybe it's like a spare of the moment thing...


that serial make's it at about 94 which is the change over point,A to B you might have one of very few B's with a hard wired power ( all the first B )..but as that doesn't do anything to the sound then really who care's..lol

My Mark IV B had a hard wired cord, in the IV-004xxx range, I believe. Sounded fantastic.

My Mark IV B is S/N IV-004361 with a hard wired cord and also sounds fantastic!

Yeah as far as i know, there hasn't been a change to the mk IV since the mid 1990's..so they should sound the same.But there is alittle thing's like early B's had left over mk A transformer's.. They sound pretty darn good from what i have heard..
