Hi,
Excuse my sloppy playing. Just doing 2 quick takes for the tone testing purposes. Signal: Jackson DKMG-->Mark IV (or Triple Rec)--->Peavy MS412-->audix I5---->Presonus firepod--->Sonar.
Audix I-5 was off center and 45 degrees off axis.

Both clips are quite mid-rangy. The mark IV's midrange's intended. (the 750's not all the way down for lead purpose). I wonder if the midrange "cab" tone is due to the cab I have.

hey shredding,

cool clips... i liked the triple. just a quick question, do u use a triple 2 or 3 ch? i am look for triple 2 ch clips if anyone out there has any please post!!

i own a triple 3 channel - love it - but am very curious to how the 2 ch sounds in comparison.

many thanx...

Scottm,
That's a triple 3 channel. It has quite a bit of EQ on the triple rec recording and also it's not compressed.

Was on your soundclick page and I have to say , this song is awesome man! Could you post the equipment and settings you used on this?

My honest opinion is that the Recto sounds good and the Mark was set VERY badly. Way too scooped with way too much buzzy high end.
