Mark IV sound setting....!!!!

Hello can somebody share or guide me to some place in this board where i can get some cool sound settings from famous artist like santana,metalica,petrucci or share your personal setting and tips with me?


New with a mark IV i hope to get the best of it.... 8)

On Harmony Central told me that in this forum i could find all the settings to get the best of my new baby<mark IV

Then select the desired amp.

I don´t have a Mark IV at the moment, but my lead ch settings used to be something like this (very Petrucci-esque lead tone):

Gain: 8 pulled
Tre: 6-7
Bass: 2-3
Mid: 4-5
LD: 7.5-8 pulled (at lower vol, pushed in when cranked up)
Pres: 2-3 pulled

GEQ: 80 hz - just under top line
240 hz - just above mid line
750 hz - just above low line
2200hz - same as 240
6600hz - around mid line

Full power, Simul-Class, Triode and Harmonics settings

For Metallica, turn up the 6600 hz slider a bit.
Worked great for me!

Sure, why not.
The Mark IV sounds good with every guitar I´ve ever played through it. Different, but good. But of course the better sounding guitar the better the sound. At least you got some good pickups.

If the guitar works for you than that´s all that matters.
