Just got a prs mccarty the other week. Anyone have any input on how I should adjust my settings to get the most out of the humbucker pickups, as compared to how I had my settings with my strat single coils? Thanks!

Zeppman,I am sorry.Your other post was written as a guitar question,you didnt mention an amp.It looked like it belonged here.Now I see you are using a MKIV and are asking about the settings on the amp.Your humbuckers are more powerful than the single coils,as I am sure you already know.If you do a search for MKIV settings over on the vintage amp forum,you will see a lot of guys have posted different settings for this amp.On the Boogie Board News and Announcements you will find a thread titled amp settings database,I am sure you will find what you need there.Sorry for misdirecting you the first time but your original post looked like it belonged here.You can edit the post over on the vintage amps area and add the info about the amp to make it fit there.If you do this I would also add some info as to what you are looking for out of the amp,you'll get more responses that way.
