Mark IV Reverb problem

I pluged a Boss FS-5U momentary switch pedal into the remote reverb foot switch input on the back of my MkIV amp and it didn't toggle the reverb off and on. Now the reverb won't work at all! Have I screwed something up or what? Can't get the amps reverb to work now. Any ideas to fix this would be appreciated? Thanks
