I have tried a couple of simple latching style channel footswitches going into the 1/4" jack underneath the chassis but it has no effect. I can use the reverb knob to adjust the amount of reverb, but the using a footswitch & going into the jack does not do anything. Using a stand mono cable. Is the jack not for reverb like I thought?

No reverb switching jack on the A

But you can make something that will work.
