Hi there!
I have a Mesa MarkIV Combo(not the wide one) that has two broken switches: the lead gain and rhy 2 gain switches..... I have the new parts coming(the actual knobs are fine). How do I go about replacing those switches?
I originally was going to have my local mesa dealer do it, but they dropped the ball in ordering parts(I needed it for a big show this weekend) so they arent getting a dime of my money. So I've now got the parts coming to me directly and would prefer to do it myself if its not too involved.

Thanks in advance!
Bob

AND REMEMBER AT ALL TIMES!

In tube amps there are high voltages present, even when the amp is turned off!

Be careful!

Before opnening up the amp:

Play something and turn off the amp without setting it on standby first.

The elco's will empty themselves this way.

Do not work with two hands on the inside at the same time.
If you touch a wire with high voltages with your hand, the electric stream will not go through your heart this way.

I hope you already knew this.
I think you have some experience with this kind of work so I think you know this already, but I thought I could better say it for yours and other peoples safety.
