mark iv lead "pull bright" doesnt work

As stated in the subject, the lead pull bright knob seems to have no effect on the tone at any volume/gain/settings.

i have no idea if the pull bright is stuck on or stuck off.

suggestions to begin fixing the problem? I just dont know where to start. but i am confident i can fix it myself if its something like a bad pot or similar.

the switch inside of the knob is probably broken. call mesa, it should only be a few bucks. the space in the m4 is pretty tight, but even with my big hands I managed to replace the lead channel's pull gain, and that's on the bottom row.
