Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help with some issues & questions I have about my mark iv amps.

I just picked up a mark iv rev b pretty cheap locally. It looks like everything works for the most part however, the amp has this weird booming frequency when you run the eq sliders pretty high. It’s doesn’t seem to like when I chug on the low b or e strings. It’s like it picks up a certain frequency and it makes the speakers rattle and it creates this boomy quality that doesn’t seem normal. I have many mark series amps and none of them do this. Any thoughts or suggestions. I already tried different cabs and Tubes but still has that boomy thing going on when I chug. Also I connected a rev A footswitch to it and it didn’t work with the amp. Does it need a rev b fu 3 footswitch?

Thanks
