Just some clips I did with my mark IV guys!
First clip is more mid centered from our pre pro demo's so there's some melodeath riffage in there.

Second clip is some Arch Enemy.

Now... these clips have been treated ONLY with High pass at 80hz and Low pass at 12khz.

Enjoy!

First clip:
One of my song riffs, mic slightly off the dustcap

Clip 2:
Some arch Enemy, moved the mic towards the cap, slight drop in the 750hz slider. Maybe 1db.

GREAT sounding clips.

What hardware (mic, mic-preamp, cab/speaker, etc.) and software did you use to record??

One for all, all for one, we are strong, we are...

Nice clips bud. The 2nd one seems a little bit brittle/harsh sounding, which is likely cuz you pointed the mic directly at the dust cap. But it's by no means unbearable.

Nice playing, nice clips. Any more?

Cheers guys! Glad you liked them!

Jackson SLS3 - Blackouts -> Ibanez TS7 (0 5 7.5) -> Mesa Mark IV (Lead gain 7 *pulled*, treble 7, mid 2.5, bass 1.5, lead drive 6.5 *pulled*, presence 4 *pushed*) vol 3, output 2. -> Mesa recto 4 x 12 -> sm57 -> shitty mic pre -> RME Multiface. Only with high pass at 80hz and low pass at 12khz!

Cheers guys!

I like that tone dude! I would say it sounds just a LITTLE thin! But apart from that, it's great, so crunchy!

Killdivision - WOW!! Love your tracks! Please fill me in on what gear you used and settings on your Mark IV on any of those clips!

*facepalm* didn't listen to all the clips!
How the **** did you get that tone on Goddamn3????

That's insane! Have you put these up on the SNeap forum?

Sounds great! I like the 2nd one better, would cut through the mix better. You have a great thrash tone happening for sure.
