Mark IV footswitch

My beloved Mark IV has developed a problem with footswitch switching to all channels makes a LOUD popping sound. Any help re: how to fix would be greatly appreciated °°°

Does the amp pop if you use the rotary selector on the back to change channels?

Mine didn't, or at least not much. But who'd use the rear switch during a gig? The footswitch is way better.

If it doesn’t pop using the selector the problem is most likely in the foot switch circuit.

My Roadster had a channel switching issue, but only when using the footswitch. Using the rotary selector and external triggers the amp worked fine. That narrowed down the issue to the 5V supply in the footswitch, much less components to troubleshoot than the entire switching matrix.
