You can use a simple 2 conductor cord that has a 2 prong standard plug on the end of it as shown above. If you are handy you can splice it into the connections for the fan and it will be as good as a fan manufactured in this fashion. I bought a second fan that was identical at radio shack and had to splice in a power cord. It works just as good as the original Howard fan for a lot less. I think the total came out to less than $15. There again the fan was clearanced at a store location that was closing. The main key is that it fits into the two prong outlet under the chassis.
