Can anyone help me locate a clip of a mark IV playing metal with el34s? thanks

Do EL34's pop straight into the mkiv? No bias switch? Just take out the outside 6l6's, put el34s and plug and play?

Yes. Just make sure the EL34s are a matched pair.

They need to be at the right level ..... I would buy them from Mesa.
As they could be to hot or cold. This well not sound good.

I very much liked EL34 in the Mark III. But did not like them in the Mark IV at all.

5881 / KT66 / 6V6 all sounded good to me in the IV.

This is only a matter of taste
