Mark IV ch.2 mod to match ch.3? Mark IV+

Has anyone here ever modded a Mark IV's ch.2 to ch.3 specs? Having owned a JP2C now for a while, I remembered thinking that the Mark IV would've been great if ch.2 was beefier like ch.3 and therefore more useable. A Mark IV+ would be so awesome, right? Is that something Mike B. at Mesa would do? IMO the same people who like ch.2 are the same folks who "like" non-GEQ Marks.

Nope, I get really good Marshall tones with my Les Pauls out of CH2. So no, never crossed my mind.

Same here. I get excellent Marshally tones for channel 2. No reason to change it.

Thanks for responses. I'm glad I have a JP2C so I can have that extra ch.3 & GEQ.The JP2C is all the good parts of the Mark IV and none of the bad!
