Mark IV and OD devices

Hi,
anybody have experience with OD pedals in front of Mark IV?
I used a SD-1 and RHY2 ch. It's good but quite a vintage-hot crunch, I hear some focus is lost but I know buffers' Boss eat some signal.
RHY2 gain was at 6, on SD-1 drive and level at 12 o'clock
I heard the Carl Martin Hot Drive 'n boost, very interesting, but not cheap as SD-1 of course.

I use a BB preamp with mine its truly amazing... i use it rather wierd but i love the sound i get out of it i use the gain rolled off all the way and the volume about 3/4 so its sounds pushed which i love, im going to be getting an ocd this week so i will see how that sounds with the mark

Love my Barber LTD OD and Zendrive. Use them with R1 separate or together. I also use the LTD with my R2, killer sounds.

I use a BB Preamp as well, I actually use the gain rolled straight up and that defeinitely opens up the sound a lot more, it condenses it a little more which exentuates the Mark IV lead, it's groovy.
