Ok...I'm apologizing before hand if this was discussed before or if this is a truely stupid idea. Some nights I have to play really low b/c the family doesn't want to hear anything. Even that is too loud.

So I was wondering, can I plug headphones in the recording out jack in the back and pull the master volume for silent recording and use that recording out knob in the back to control the volume? I will still have the head plugged into the speaker cab as a load.

Will I be damaging anything? Will it sound better than just using my portable rockman?

Thanks

You can do it ! But if you really want to have fun, get a old PC with an amp simulator to play at night, way more fun and ther are some good amp simulator for free.
