Mark iv 2006 comparison

I would like to know what the differance is between a 2006 mark iv and an older edition mark iv. I have a 2006 and I've heard that the older ones were better fo some reason, that they sound better and perfom better. Anyone have any insight?

People's opinions will vary on A/B. If you like the one you have keep it. The differences are only slight and you have to A/B them to really hear them. It isn't like Mesa made a totally different amp when they made the revision. I own an A and love it. I play B's elsewhere when I can and don't find enough of a significant difference to warrant wanting one over the other. I don't use a satellite enough to warrant a dedicated satellite send nor do I use enough effects for the loops to matter either.
