mark III through two cabs

i want to play my mark III through my mesa cab and my marshall cab. I have a 3/4 open back mesa cab with an 8 ohm out as well as the two split 4 ohms. and the marshall is old so it has just one 8 ohm out. what would be the best way to set this up. i was confused, so i ran two cords from both 4 ohm out on the mark III to each 8 ohm in on both cabinets.

it sounds awesome. i play 4 black shadows in the mesa and the marshall is a 1970 marshall 8x10 cabinet. I was just worried that i may have had the ohm rates set up wrong. I like the tone effect i get of the 90 watt big speakers with the 10 watt speakers. a very cool mix.
