Mark iii reverb

Just got a Mark iii green stripe, in a rack mount. There is'nt really enough room in my rack for the reverb unit. Is it ok to just leave it out? I play thrash metal and don't use reverb anyway. Just want to make sure i don't hurt the amp. Thanks.

I don't own a Mark III so I can't give you a definitive answer, but I'd imagine it should be completely fine.

Just turn the setting for the reverb to zero. Mark III amps with reverb still send a signal. They are either some reverb or "massive reverb" - never off!

I run a vintage rackmount spring reverb (Furman RV-1) with my rackmount Mark III. While my Mark III was a non-verb unit from the factory, I like the outboard reverb since it gives me more options for sound. I can make it not there, subtle, washed, or spacey.
