Mark iii Question

I don't know much about the different stripes and + options. Is this mark ii any good? Looking for a metallica iic+ ish tone to add to my arsenal.

$500 tops. It's not been treated well. Lord knows what service issues it has. It's a very early Mark III. Notice the label "Pull Rhythm 2" above the Middle knob is not as bold as the other labels. That's because it was added to the face plate after the plate was manufactured. Improvements on-the-run!
For $1000 you could get nearly mint. With the foot switches.
Patience, it's worth it.
OTOH, it never hurts to contact the seller and make an offer. Often people will go for it so they can save on the eBay & Paypal fees.

Stay away. Cosmetically it's a joke - calling it "in really great shape" is just ridiculous. "Cosmetically, it has the scratches and marks one would expect from an amp of this age"... if it had been really abused by someone who didn't take care of it. Make a lower offer if you're impatient, or wait for a better one.
