Is it just me, or were Mark IIIs like 600-800 bucks three months ago, and now its almost impossible to find one under a grand? I am looking for another one to compliment my purple stripe, hopefully a later stripe, and I am not about to drop a grand on one of these bad boys. Anyone else notice this?

There seem to be less for sale than there were a while back. I'm asking $900 Canadian for one of mine, but it had US$250 worth of Boogie-love given to it in 2008 so it's good to go forever.

100% agree. I passed up a loaded green stripe EV combo this summer for $650. That was a crazy good deal but I had my heart set on a Mark IV. The guy needed to move it. He'd had it for sale at $850 for over a month and couldn't get any interest. Now, I can't remember the last time I saw a loaded III advertised under $900

Maybe this is a sign that the economy is picking up. I don't see the volume of gear dumping that was going on a few months ago.

might be worth checking out

I think people are starting to learn what great amps the III's are. Just roll back it's Presence knob and it raise the Treble knob and you have a killer amp with no buzziness.

shh....!
You want the prices to go up even more?
