Hey!
My 6600Hz eq slider is dead, so I need to replace a coil and a capacitor, the coil is 33mH, but I can't read the value of the capacitor? so does anyone of you masters out there know?

And BTW where do you get your parts?

regards
Tony

I'm sure that you could call Mesa directly and they'll ship you out the correct parts. Their customer service is top-notch.

how do you know the capacitor needs replacing?

for every EQ band, there is a slider pot, a resistor, a capacitor and an inductor. when my IIB 750Hz band stopped working, only the inductor was bad.

on the MKIII schematic, the 6600Hz band uses a .033H inductor, a .033uF cap, a 1K resistor and a 50K slider pot.

I know it's either the inductor or the capacitor, since the slider and the resistor is fine.
I talked to the norwegian distributor and they order the parts, but I had to go through a music store to get the parts. So the I'll just have to wait, having three other mark amps I think I can handle it.

Thanks
Tony
