Mark iii clean wont stay clean at hi volume

markiii green stripe heres my settings at practice.
Volume(sensitivity)6-8
treble 9 pulled
Mid 5 not pulled
bass 2 not pulled
master 3ish
lead drive 7ish
lead master 4-5
Seems like no matter where i put the volume sensitivity theres always a little fuzziness with the clean channel. Even when i put it as low as 3. When i roll back the guitar volume to about half it helps. Im about to do a full retube,wich im hoping will fix it,any other suggestions? --i did try this on 3 different guitars with the same result. It doesnt sound like a slight overdrive either,almost like somethings slightly wrong with it.

A green stripe Simul-Class has two power sections, with the "Class A" section starting to clip at only 25 watts. The higher you run Volume, Treble, and Master, the earlier breakup starts.

did you try lowering the treble a bit? maybe to the 6 or 7 range? it may help a bit
