Mark IIC+ recap - huge improvement

This is probably a well established topic but if anyone has a c+ that has not done a recap it's well worth doing. Before I had the caps replaced the low end was a bit loose on the c+ which was not what I was expecting. I managed to dial it out to tighten the amp up using some rather unorthodox settings. With the fresh caps it never seems to get loose sounding even with the lead drive at 9. Here's a quick vid I did:

Yes, it's amazing how much better an amp sounds when the power supply is now working correctly for the first time in years!

There's no upgrade that can match replacing worn out parts with ones that are up to the task at hand.

Honestly when I first got the c+ I was confused because I was expecting this super tight beast and it was actually the most flubby of all the Marks I'd tried. Not anymore though! I wonder how many people buy one that's due for a recap and then flick it on again not knowing how good it could sound.
