my IIB has been modified (by a hack, from the looks of it) and i'd like to try to restore it back to original. thanks for your help!

Did you consider changing the circuit to a IIC+? As long as you have to do the work anyway.

Mesa doesn't modify IIBs to C+s as the necessary circuit board (RP11A?) is no longer available. They can "upgrade" a IIC to a C+.

i'd find a good version of it...

FWIW, i received an email today from mesa with an attachment of the only MkIIB schematic mesa has....same one as in the link in the original post
