Hi jim.. The "Orange globe" labeled is an Amperex 12ax7.. These are the Philips/Bugleboy made in holland with the famous Delta logo.. They sound powerful, clear, with a great mid/high end harmonics..

the mesa labeled could to be Lorenz Tubes..Made by ITT in Germany but i'm not so sure.. i found the same tube into a MKIIB 100w

i love the amprex tubes. that is what is in my C+. Very Powerful and clear!!!! Oh yeah!

Those mystery mesa tubes are Tungsram made in hungary, that's pretty cool I've never seen any mesa rebranding of those. They're great tubes so long as they're not microphonic, they tend to get that way over time. The orange globe logo amperex is actually a rebranded east german made rft, amperex rebranded alot of those in the later days. They're good tubes as well, lots of breakup that comes on early, great in the lead channel slot if you wanna get ugly in a good way. :D

2 people at harmony-central said they were sovteks, but they're probably just assuming they're newer mesa tubes or something.
how can you tell that they are tungsram?
