Does anyone know how much Mesa charge for an empty headshell for a Mark II (short) in the UK?

Would a Mark III or IV shell fit?

Alternatively, can you get unloaded hardwood 1x12 cabinets from them?

I think Mesa will sell them for around $400 maybe more. I got one from board member gts for much less and he did a great job

+1. Contact gts. His product has a nice "V" cut in the front structure (behind the decorative panel), allowing for easy preamp tube swaps. He can also customize them for you. Shipping from the east coast is probably cheaper than from California too.

Thanks for the cudos' guys but fwiw zeb already has one of my head cabs.
He happened to buy a IIC+ from someone who had the C+ in one of my cabs.
Pretty sure the cab had traded hands a couple of times before zeb got it.
He started a "New amp day" thread and posted pics a few weeks ago:

Yes they would work but It depends on the MkII you want to put in the headshell.
Early IIB's had a different spacing for the mounting holes.
Later IIB's up thru III's and IV's have the same spacing.

Yes you can buy one unloaded.
