I switched on my Mesa Boogie Mark I reissue & there was no sound at all. I switched it off & on again & it worked fine. After 1 hour the sound was coming & going. The speaker cable & wires are well connected. What could be the problem? I couldn't find that in the manual.

Could be a bad contact, either solder joint or tube socket, or maybe a bad tube or cap.
Try tapping each tube while the amp is on with a pen or something to see it that changes something. If it's a bad contact around the socket you'll hear the change. Don't confuse it with microphonic tubes though, when you tap a microphonic tube you'll hear a click on the output, this sounds more like a "turn off and on" noise :)
Hope it helps.
